Location one - The Swan & Royal Hotel (9pm - 10pm)
Our first location was "The Swan & Royal Hotel" situated on the main street in the town of Clitheroe. Upon arriving at the hotel our special guest historian Simon Entwistle walked us to room 6 on the top floor of the hotel. Once closing the door Simon continued in explaining to us the story of a young lady "Anne Druce" who sadly hung herself in that very room way back in 1878.Unfortunately as we tried taunting the spirit of Anne into revealing that she was in fact in the room with us we didn't get any response in terms of knocks or any such things but a few minutes later "Gaz Coward & Ben Connor" left the room to go and fetch some flashlights to get ready for the lights being switched off. On returning they found James Reay, Anna Munkelt and John-Symon Waite along with Simon Entwistle discussing an unexplained event in which a lamp shade moved without anyone touching it. Unfortunately the lamp shade moving was not caught on camera so we are unable to reveal if it did or did not move, although if you watch the upcoming Pilot Episode we do examine earlier/later footage of the lamp so by watching you can join us in deciding if we did actually have a Paranormal Encounter.
Location two - Clitheroe Castle (10:30pm - 00:00am)
Making our way upto Clitheroe Castle we first met at the bottom of the large hill in which the castle sits and allowed Simon to tell us a short story involving some police officers way back in the 80's who believed they had a Paranormal Encounter with an old dead soldier running at them and disappearing through a wall. At that moment in time music from the castle filled the air (This was very unusual as we didn't hear the music a few moments earlier) Upon making our way up the stairs and into the castle tower we felt a little on edge as the music we could hear was very creepy and kind of weird.Throughout this part of the investigation the music playing for some reason kept raising on request, we're not saying it was paranormal in it's own right but we're not saying it was normal for that time of night either, again this is something that you as a viewer of our pilot episode can decide for yourself but trust us when we say this, the experience was freaky.
Location three - Pendle Hill/Malkin Tower (1am - 5:30am)
Finally arriving at the one place in which we were all looking forward to, we reached Pendle Hill and trust us when we say this, we couldn't see within 2ft of ourselves when walking, it really was that dark. There was no wind, no nothing, just us, our cameras and flash lights. The first thing to stand out to us was a ridge about 1 mile away which looked as though it was moving, unfortunately our cameras couldn't pick it up due to the darkness but our eyes sure did. To find out what it was you'll have to watch our pilot episode but again something that was pretty freaky but very cool to experience. We spent the rest of the night on Pendle Hill and at about 3am we decided that we would go exploring, we must have walked a good 8 miles throughout the night because at one point we got lost. It was an amazing experience, check out our Paranormal Encounters: Pilot Episode coming very soon to a screen near you.
